Enclosed is the link for incoming 9th and 10th graders for KCA summer session. Summer session travel to Anchorage May 25, 2026 and return home June 19, 2026.

140 hours - one powerful achievement! 👏
Join us in celebrating Chance Hunter, Scammon Bay Tribal Member on completing the Rural Heavy Equipment Operating Training Camp through Mining and Petroleum Training Service (MAPTS) at the University of Alaska Fairbanks! Chance successfully finished 140 hours of hard work, dedication, and hands-on learning. 💪
This journey was made possible with support from the AVCP Tribal Workforce Division (TWD) Scholarship!

Scammon Bay:
AK Star is starting soon. We will start testing the week of April 6. Please see the calendar below for the exact dates of testing.
Please help your children:
- get plenty of sleep the night before testing.
- eat a good breakfast the morning of testing.
- stay focused on the test.
- understand that it is just a test and we know they will try their very best!
